The course aims to develop student skills in designing dynamic websites, and provide students with an understanding of the potential and limitations of Web media.

Learning outcome

  • LO 1 - understand and use terms and concepts in web publishing, interface and interaction design
  • LO 2 - explain the processes and opportunities for creating dynamic websites
  • LO 3 - from a data analysis plan the user interaction in a dynamic website
  • LO 4 - designing interfaces and graphic communications tailored to the interaction of a dynamic website

Content

The course includes modules and data in the following areas: Project planning, dynamic information management, interaction, graphical interfaces, distribution techniques.

Education

Lectures, seminars, exercises, presentations and literature studies. Instruction is mainly in the computer lab.
