Practice Report and Branch Analysis Report in common

    References

We need references in the reports to prove...

    • Choice of method
    • Strengthen facts
    • Design, if applicable

    -Choice of method

What methods have been used? Use methods that you could confirm from books in recently meth. Methods of interview techniques, participatory observation, etc.

    -Strengthen facts

Facts and different data needs to be the confirmed in the report. If one for exampel writes about history, the need facts strengthened with references. It can be everything from spoken sources at interviews to web pages and literature of the described history.

    -Design, if applicable

Those of you who do an internship, will perhaps be in some form of design process. Then you will make a lot choices in your design, or you will be asked to design in a certain way. These choices should be analyzed with the help of literature. Often do you work and do not have time to reflect on what you have learned. At the writing of the report old course literature can come in handy. You may prove your workplace or design choice, or may notice that you did not do nearly as it was in a book. It is also an insight and reflection. Maybe the book was old and did not understand how it is out in the "real world"? Referencing and analyze.

    Range of references

For Intership report, at least 10 references is needed. For the bransch analysis 20 references is needed.

It should be a good distribution of the sources. Ie it is not possible to have the same source of all references but the references should be taken from as many sources as possible.

No or insufficient credentials automatically leads to arrest.

    Source criticism

For both Internship and bransch analysis applies, source criticism to reflect on the information in the given reference. Considerations include what is based on craft and what is based on science. There is a big difference in whether someone is written from personal experience and if something is scientifically grounded. One or the other can be both right and wrong, but in academia deemed something that is research based is much more credible than personal experience. When it comes to bransch analysis, it is more important to consider the source's credibility and a piece of source criticism is recommended that in respect.

When it comes to web pages you have to be extra precise and withholding critical. Websites and sources that lack credibility or are biased should be avoided completely. A biased Web page, for example, a website created for certain political views or religious affiliation.

For others who read your work, it will hopefully be easier to understand and argue with you when you do not just write from your subjective experiences without a clearly explains where your sources come. Base what you write on knowledge and not on subjective opinions.

    Writing

Use control features for spelling, etc. in the word processing program and read text with a critical eye, Proofread before you submit it. Have you followed points above, there should be a clear structure of your report.

    Assessment Criteria

For Pass requires that data be submitted, implemented according to specified instructions, illustrate the points listed and comply with the specifications above. In addition, the coupling theory/practice indicated by relevant examples from earlier literature and informed reasoning. References and citations must be included and must be consistently implemented. The configuration is a good quality (in terms of text, image, form).
